It’s fair to say that Nintendo has been on a roll ever since the OG Switch ruled the roost. Its successor, the Switch 2, currently sits at the top of our list of favorite gaming handheld for 2026. It starts at $450, and the Mario Kart World bundle comes in at $500, saving $30 compared to grabbing the game on its own. But be warned: This bundle is only going to be around for a limited time, so ordering yours soon is the only way to lock in that offer.
While the bundle was produced in limited numbers and won’t see future restocks once it’s gone, it hasn’t disappeared yet. Several major retailers are still carrying it, including Amazon and Best Buy, but we’ve no way of knowing how long that will remain the case. If Mario Kart is already on your must-play list, it makes more sense to pick up this bundle sooner rather than later.
Below, we’ve broken down where US, UK and Canadian shoppers can find this bundle in stock, along with the standalone console and popular Pokemon Legends: Z-A bundle. Availability changes often, though, and we’ll continue to update this page as stocks fluctuate, so be sure to check back often.
We’re also keeping track of the accessories you’ll want for your new console, from screen protectors to cameras.
Nintendo Switch 2 at Amazon
Amazon now has the console only, the Mario Kart World bundle and the Donkey Kong bundle available. However, the Pokemon Legends bundle is currently sold out for US and Canadian shoppers.
Nintendo Switch 2 at Best Buy
Best Buy has the console and Mario Kart World bundle in stock. Many stores also offer same-day pickup or delivery but note that availability may vary by location. The Pokemon Legends: Z-A bundle is currently sold out.
Nintendo Switch 2 at EB Games
Nintendo Switch 2 at Walmart
Walmart has the console and Mario Kart World bundle in stock, being sold and shipped by Walmart directly, but stock is limited. It’s important to note that there are many unverified, third-party vendors on its site as well. We recommend avoiding these, so be sure to double-check that you’re buying from Walmart or Nintendo directly.
Walmart US
Walmart has the standalone console and the Mario Kart World bundle available online, as well as in-store availability at many locations. The Pokemon Legends: Z-A bundle is sold out.
Note that unverified third-party retailers sometimes sell these items for inflated prices. We recommend avoiding this so be sure to double-check that you’re getting the version marked as “sold and shipped by Walmart.”
Nintendo Switch 2 at Target
You can order the standalone console or the Mario Kart World bundle online right now at Target. You may also find them in-store near you, but it will depend on your location.
Nintendo Switch 2 at Newegg
As of now, Newegg has the standalone console and the Mario Kart World bundle in stock. It’s also worth noting that Newegg is slightly less popular than major retailers like Target or Walmart, which could give you a better chance of securing an order.
Nintendo Switch 2 camera
This compact camera costs $55 and plugs directly into the Switch 2 console or docks USB-C port. It allows you to chat with friends or access in-game features for select titles. The camera has a wide-angle lens, which you can adjust to keep yourself in frame easily. It also automatically adjusts its brightness so your face is always visible.
Nintendo Switch 2 at Nintendo
Nintendo no longer requires an invitation to order the Switch 2, which means you can grab either version of the console without registering or jumping through any hoops.
Nintendo Switch 2 at Costco
Costco currently has its own version of the Switch 2 console bundle available online but note that you will need a membership if you’re hoping to buy one here.
Nintendo Switch 2 at Staples
Several Staples stores around the country have the Switch 2 available for purchase in-store. You can check the list of participating locations at the link below, but this does not reflect current availability. It’s worth noting that the retailer has announced on its site that stock is now very low.
UK Nintendo Switch 2 orders
UK shoppers have plenty of places to pick up the Switch 2. It’s available for purchase directly from Nintendo, as well as through multiple other retailers right now. We have all the details below. We’ll continue to check for restocks and keep you posted.
Note: We have no confirmation that the digital download code for Mario Kart World in the UK Switch 2 bundle will work with non-UK Nintendo accounts. The power cables are also different for each region. If you plan to buy a UK Switch 2 from outside the country, please know there’s no guarantee it’ll work as expected.
When can I order the Nintendo Switch 2?
It was a little tough to get your hands on the Switch 2 for a few weeks after its release in June but things have calmed down since then. Nintendo and retailers like Best Buy, Target and Walmart have the standalone console and the Mario Kart World bundle available. Almost no retailers have the Pokemon Legends: Z-A bundle available anymore. Stocks fluctuate, and the console will occasionally sell out at one retailer or another, but you can almost always find one available either online or in person.

How much does the Nintendo Switch 2 cost?
The standalone console costs $450 and the Mario Kart World bundle is $500. It doesn’t look like that will be changing any time soon but Nintendo recently increased its prices for the original Switch console, as well as a handful of games and accessories. The Switch 2 console has not been affected so far, but the company said that “price adjustments may be necessary in the future.”
Will the Nintendo Switch 2 come in other colors?
For the new Switch 2, Nintendo has ditched the colored Joy-Cons for a more sleek, monochrome look — although there are still pops of red and blue around the analog sticks. As of now, Nintendo hasn’t said anything about additional colors. Additionally, it’s rumored that Samsung — which makes the displays for the Switch 2 — is pushing for an OLED version of the console.
Is the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World Bundle worth it?
The Mario Kart series has been a long-standing tentpole for Nintendo and fans were thrilled to hear that a new title would be accompanying the new console. The excitement was dampened by the announcement that the new game would carry a higher price: $80 for the digital edition or $90 for the physical copy. However, you can bundle a digital copy with the console for $500 total, which saves you $30 compared to buying them separately. It’s an excellent value if it’s a game you’re certain you want in your library and likely the only “discount” we’ll see on this title for quite some time. Additionally, it was recently confirmed that there won’t be any future restocks for this bundle, so take advantage of the current availability or you could miss out on these savings.
Nintendo Switch 2: What are people saying?
There are still some mixed feelings about Nintendo’s newest console. While some are happy to see that Nintendo hasn’t altered much about the wildly popular original Switch, others feel not enough has changed to justify the $150 price hike — with CNET gaming expert Scott Stein calling it a console that “feels a lot like an updated version of a system many people already own.” The confirmation that the US tariffs won’t be leading to any further price increases has helped stifle gamers’ anxiety some but many are still unhappy with the fact that select games will be selling for up to $20 more than the standard $60. We’re eager to see if most gamers consider the price hikes worth it now that they’re finally getting their hands on the new console and games.
