The Myflow.top Hijacker is a computer infection from the family that modifies the shortcuts for web browsers installed on the computer so that they automatically open the myflow.top web page. It does this by changing the browser’s shortcut so that instead of launching the browser’s executable, it launches a batch file instead. This batch file will then launch the browser’s executable, but with an argument to automatically open the Myflow.top pagem, which then redirects to an advertisement as shown below.
The batch files for the various browsers are located in the %UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Browsers\ folder as shown below.

These batch files contain an obfuscated command that opens the clicked-on browser to a specific page. In this case, the browser will be forced to automatically open the http://myflow.top/ page, which will then display an advertisement. An example of the command executed by this infection’s batch file is start “” “c:\PROGRA~2\google\chrome\APPLIC~1\chrome.exe” “http://1.myflow.top/click.php?key=0prvj03z5a4vecweugjb”.
You can see an example of one of these obfuscated batch files below. If you strip out the characters between the percent symbols, it will display the actual command that is executed.

The good news is that the fix below will not only remove the hijacker, but will also restore your browser shortcuts so that they are working properly again.
How was Myflow.top Home Page Hijacker Installed on My Computer?

Furthermore, If the license agreement or installation screens state that they are going to install a toolbar or other unwanted adware, it is advised that you cancel the install and not use the free software.
