Focus shift
Nikon’s new Focus Shift capability is very similar to Olympus’ Focus Stacking, though it doesn’t combine the shots in-camera. You choose an increment or the number of shots, and it automatically focuses at varying distances. It saves the series of shots for postprocessing on a computer.

Nikon says it’s made the grip deeper, but I didn’t notice much of a difference.
