The best two teams in baseball this year will face off again for Game 2 of the World Series on Saturday. The Los Angeles Dodgers snatched Game 1 with a dramatic 6-3 win over the New York Yankees when Freddie Freeman hit a walk-off grand slam in the 10th inning — a World Series first. The Yankees will look to even things up at one apiece before the best-of-seven series heads to New York.

The 2024 World Series marks the 12th time that these two storied franchises have met in October, but it’s the first instance in over 40 years. Led by Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman, the Dodgers have one of the best offenses in baseball. The Yankees also feature a formidable lineup, with its own trio of sluggers in Juan Soto, Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton in the middle of it.

The second game of the World Series is Saturday in Los Angeles. The Yankees will send Carlos Rodón to the mound against the Dodgers’ Yoshinobu Yamamoto for Game 2. First pitch is scheduled for tonight at 8:08 p.m. ET (5:08 p.m. PT) on Fox. Here’s what you need to know to watch without cable.
